A houseboat on the Seine

Posted on August 27th, 2008 by Laura Byrne Paquet in Vacation Rentals

Looking for a unique place to stay in Paris, and money is no object? For rates starting at a cool 430 euro (approximately $700 Canadian or U.S.) per night, you can hole up in a 1,050-square-foot houseboat in St. Germain, complete with grand piano. Like many houseboats, it will wobble a bit if a larger boat goes by, so give it a miss if you’re prone to seasickness. Welcome2France.com recently added the houseboat to its roster of properties for rent.

Oooooooh – now THAT looks like a lovely idea. Will have to suggest it to Sean if we win the lottery 🙂
